Coupon 101

Q:
If a coupon says "only one coupon per purchase" does that mean I can only use one per transaction?

A:
No! A purchase essentially means per item. So you can use one coupon PER item. You will have multiple purchases in one transaction. Be aware however that some coupons limit the amount of coupons in a transaction. For example,"only four like coupons per transaction."

Q:
What do SS, RP, PG, IP, q, and MM mean?

A:
SS=SmartSource- which is a coupon insert in the newspaper. RP=RedPlum- also a coupon insert in the newspaper.
PG= Proctor and gamble which has an insert in the newspaper ONCE a month.
IP= internet printable.
q=coupon.
MM=money maker. This means when the coupon value exceeds the product value. When this happens the difference aka overage goes back to you (whether it be in credit to the other products in your transaction or back literally into your pocket)!

Q:
Don't I have to buy the product pictured on the coupon?

A:
Usually no. Manufacturers typically put their most expensive or largest product picture on the coupon. Most coupons will say "ANY" of a certain brand or product. That means you can use it on ANY of the specified product. You do have to follow any size or type specification however if they are stated.
